BARDI ECOLOGIA
Bardi has emptied, unblocked and inspected the drains under Florence since 1896. The Chamber of Commerce lists the company on its Historic Business Registry, and Ferragamo, Menarini, ATAF and the University of Florence are on the client list. None of it was on the website.
The only date on the old site was the copyright line.

Bardi sits on the Historic Business Registry of the Florence Chamber of Commerce. The old website never printed the founding year once. The only date anywhere on it was the copyright line in the footer.
The Registry certificate did appear: an uncaptioned photograph of a frame resting on a sideboard, inside the homepage carousel. The evidence was on the page and unreadable as evidence.
A blocked drain is not a considered purchase. The old structure put six service pages between a flooded customer and a phone number.
Owning the trucks is what separates Bardi from operators who subcontract. The old homepage opened on an empty meeting room and a desk.
The pages a customer would land on were titled Home, About and Contact. Three English words on an Italian site, and not one of them named the service, the city or the company.
We added no claim. We printed the ones already earned.
Dal 1896
The date leads
Dal 1896 is the most valuable thing the company owns. It now opens the page, carries the title tag and closes the footer.
The whole page, in one scroll
It opens on Bardi's own trucks, then earns the claim in order: the Registry, the clients, the four services, the number. Nothing is asserted before it is shown.
The header gets out of the way
Scrolling collapses the whole navigation into a single pill. On a page people open in an emergency, the menu must not compete with the phone number.
Most of them arrive on a phone
An emergency search happens standing over the problem, not at a desk. The order was drawn for the thumb first, and the number never needs a scroll.

Built for the worst day
The order answers an emergency first: what we do, who for, how fast, and the number. History follows as proof, never as preamble.
Search for spurghi in Florence and Bardi comes up. Nothing about the company changed.

"The brief was never to make Bardi look older. It was to stop the site from making it look younger."
