A personal portfolio that presents the work of Alessio Fontanelli as complete systems: kinematics, materials and identity together. Each project is documented the way the object was built, not the way it photographs.
A render shows the result. It does not show how the object works.
Industrial design portfolios usually show renders. This one shows kinematics, material choices and assembly, and stops before it turns into a manual.
"Pensieri Estrusivi" needed a mark that reads handmade and precise. Logo and system follow the extrusion logic of the objects.
The projects cross pharma, outdoor, lighting and medical. One visual framework holds them together and still gives each one its own space.
The cursor, the scroll animations and the video loops were built without frameworks. Each one had to explain something to stay in.
The object is the page. Everything else steps back.
Object as hero
Every page is built around the object: renders, video and technical drawings. The layout gives them the full width.
Motion as documentation
Video loops are not decoration. They show the mechanism working, which a static render cannot do.
Identity from the process
The identity comes from the process itself: extrusion, axes, geometric construction. Logo, typography and cursor are drawn with the same rules as the objects.
A portfolio that documents how each object works, not only how it looks.
